Delhi LOCKDOWN 2022 in Making?
Delhi after witnessing the viral video of customers and shoppers from different markets has put a question mark on the Delhiites about their willingness towards the precaution to be taken for Corona. The Delhi Govt, Staff, Law Enforcement agencies can do very little to help Delhi skip another lockdown.
The SDM Vasant Vihar Mr. Ankur Meshram DANICS during his virtual meeting on 23rd December 2021 suggested and appealed the RWA’s and RWA Federation of Vasant Kunj to kindly request residents to not take part in any major social or public gathering and also restrict their movement if not required as the cases are increasing and will lead to Lockdown.
3 Days after the Virtual Meeting was held an order has been passed about Night Curfew starting 27th December 2021 from 11:00 PM – 5:00 AM till further notice by Delhi Govt.
The need of an hour is to protect ourselves and others from the Corona Virus and to ensure regular testing since the max number of residents are Vaccinated. Residents of Vasant Kunj are requested to maintain social distancing and to avoid inessential travel.
The Night curfew can be extended or the Hours may be changed depending upon the number of cases exposed every day.
